When my wife suggested that we try going to a nice restaurant for a change I was more than a little suspicious, particularly as it was something that I have never tried before. The food that I am referring to is Halal Food. So what is Halal food you might ask? Halal simply means permitted or lawful, so in the context of food, Halal Food means any foods that are allowed to be eaten according to Islamic Sharia law.
So with a little arm twisting we booked a table at a prominent Halal restaurant in London by the name of L'oud Des Eurasie. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional the staff were as soon as we entered the premises. The restaurant was well decorated and everything seemed to be of outstanding quality. The food was simply amazing! some of the best food that I have ever tasted! I really was pleasantly surprised, so much so I wrote this blog about it!
So what food from the Halal menu would I recommend? The Mallard slow braised in butter is my personal favourite, truly succulent! An additional benefit of the food here at L'oud Des Eurasie is how healthy it is and how good value for money it is.
So get yourself down to Chelsea London and book a table at L'oud Des Eurasie, situated just off the kings road.
